Hi there!
My name is Lisa Harding and I grew up in the beautiful Greater Vancouver area which is located on the West coast of Canada.
Professionally, I have 10 years of business experience specializing in the areas of strategic planning, marketing, communications, campaign planning, program and channel management and customer loyalty. I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration with a Major in Marketing and am currently working towards my MBA. I believe in continual learning and professional growth and networking is a big part of this. Feel free to add me as a connection on LinkedIn!
Personally, I am a postive and motivated individual who likes to read, spend time with my Irish Terrier Ruby, and travel. I grew up in an incredibly multicultural community and have always loved diversity; people of many cultures, backgrounds and ethnicities. I also like to think that i’m caring, open minded and I really like to look at the “big picture”.
If you are reading this it’s probably because you found me through The Shughuli Project. I believe that this latest endeavour of mine really is a representation of everything I am, or that I want and hope to be.
I’ve been inspired by many people in my life; my friend Rahama, my penpal Mercy, and my coworker Gitao – all from Kenya but they all inspire me for different reasons. The Dharsi boys, who are family friends of mine with creative minds and a unique outlook on life. The many diverse people I grew up with, and have worked with over the years. My many friends and family who have inspired me and encouraged me to be different from them. My Uncle Gary, who has now retired and is devoting his spare time to an international cause. My facebook friend Kevin who I’ve never met in real-life, but who’s humanitarian efforts have really stood out in my mind, and are something I’d like to mirror. And of course those experiences during traveling that are always so memorable. This list could really go on and on… but I think you get the point.
I really feel excited, and as though I’m at the beginning of a new chapter in my life. I’ll probably add more to this “About me” section as I grow and evolve, and as my purpose here takes on new meaning.
Thanks for reading ![]()
